Simplified Scrip Shutdown

We have been informed that beginning December 21, 2009, Simplified Scrip has ceased operation.This does NOT affect the Great Lakes Scrip program that we still offer.

Here is the text of their announcement:

Introducing Scrip

We have partnered with Great Lakes Scrip and Simplied Scrip to bring to the community an opportunity to capture funds from money that you spend already on daily purchases such as food, groceries, fuel, clothing, entertainment, etc.

Please go to the Scrip Programs section to find out more.  This is an outstanding opportunity for you to help us help our children without spending any more of your hard earned cash than you already spend today.

Call for Volunteers

We are at the point where we need volunteers to help with various activities.  We have identified a number of opportunites for fund raising, but we need community support.

If you have some time available and are able to help out, please do contact any of the Board Members on the "Contact Us" page, either by phone or email.  In order to help our children, we need to first help ourselves.

Salem Community Foundation is a non-profit foundation incorporated under the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

Our goal is to provide alternate sources of funding for educational and extracurricular activities for students of western Kenosha County.

The Foundation is tax exempt per IRS code 501(c)(3).  That means that any donations to the Foundation can be deducted on the donor's individual income tax.
